Fatal Portland, Oregon, shooting death of Brianne Pardue – Obituary
Portland police have identified 45-year-old Brianne Pardue as the victim of a fatal shooting in the Centennial neighborhood on Monday morning.
The shooting occurred around 12:30 a.m. in the 14400 block of Southeast Harrison Street.
Officers were dispatched after receiving reports of gunshots and found Pardue’s lifeless body at the scene. The Medical Examiner confirmed that her cause of death was a gunshot wound, ruling it a homicide.
Later that evening, authorities arrested 35-year-old Joshua Thielbar in connection with the crime. Although police have not disclosed a motive for the shooting, nor clarified the relationship between Pardue and Thielbar, Thielbar has been charged with second-degree murder, unlawful use of a firearm, and felon in possession of a firearm.
Investigators continue to work on uncovering more details about the tragic incident.
