Richard Anthony Myers dies in fatal Victorville mobility scooter crash

Fatal Victorville crash death of Richard Anthony Myers – Obituary

Richard Anthony Myers, 48, tragically lost his life early Wednesday morning after being struck by a white Ford F-150 while riding his motorized mobility scooter.

The incident occurred around 3:49 a.m. on April 30, 2025, near the intersection of Monte Vista Road and Dos Palmas Road in Victorville. Myers was pronounced dead at the scene after suffering fatal injuries.

The driver of the truck remained at the scene and is cooperating with authorities, who have launched an investigation into the cause of the accident.

The Victorville Police Department’s Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) is handling the case.

Myers had recently shared on social media that he was under hospice care following a terminal diagnosis, and his family and friends have expressed their deep grief over his passing.
