Fatal Mesquite car crash death of Mark Bryant and Brian Robinson – Obituary
Mark Bryant, 64, of Dallas, and Brian Robinson, 61, of Mesquite, tragically lost their lives in a multi-vehicle accident on Tuesday evening in Mesquite, Texas.
The deadly collision occurred around 6:34 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of US Highway 80, between Galloway Avenue and Belt Line Road. Authorities report that three vehicles were involved in the crash—a Harley-Davidson motorcycle, a Toyota RAV4, and an Audi SUV.
According to police, one vehicle struck another from behind, causing it to flip over a concrete barrier and land in the westbound lanes. Both Mark Bryant, who was operating the motorcycle, and Brian Robinson, who was driving the Toyota, were declared deceased at the scene.
The driver of the Audi, identified as Kevin Jerome Jackson of Forney, was taken into custody at the site of the crash. He is facing two charges of intoxication manslaughter and is currently being held at the Mesquite city jail without bond.
Law enforcement officials have not disclosed further specifics as the investigation into the incident continues.
