Fatal Midvale motorcycle crash death of Raul Alexis Silvasanchez-Stockseth – Obituary

A tragic collision in Midvale claimed the life of 24-year-old Raul Alexis Silvasanchez-Stockseth late Wednesday night. Authorities say the crash occurred around 11 p.m. at the intersection of State Street and 8000 South when Silvasanchez-Stockseth, traveling north on his motorcycle at high speed, collided with a car attempting a left turn.

 

According to Aymee Race of the Unified Police Department, bystanders were already trying to assist Silvasanchez-Stockseth when emergency crews arrived. Despite life-saving efforts from first responders, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

The motorist involved in the crash remained at the location and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation. Police stated that charges may be filed once the inquiry into the crash is complete.
