Aaron Steffens dies in fatal Pershing County, Nevada car crash

Fatal Pershing County, Nevada car crash death of Aaron Steffens – Obituary

Aaron Steffens, a 42-year-old resident of Salt Lake City, lost his life Saturday night in a single-vehicle rollover crash along Interstate 80 in Pershing County, Nevada.

According to Nevada Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:35 p.m. near mile marker 52. Steffens was driving a grey 2001 Ford Mustang east in the right lane when, for reasons still under investigation, he suddenly veered left.

His vehicle exited the roadway, spun, and overturned, eventually stopping in the center median. Emergency personnel arriving at the scene pronounced Steffens dead.

The Nevada Highway Patrol’s Traffic Homicide Unit is continuing to investigate the incident to determine what may have caused the fatal rollover.
