Fatal Islip Terrace, New York motorcycle crash death of Michael Myrick – Obituary

Michael E. Myrick, a 40-year-old resident of Central Islip, was killed Wednesday afternoon in a motorcycle crash along the Southern State Parkway in Islip Terrace, New York.

According to New York State Police, the accident occurred around 2:15 p.m. as Myrick was traveling eastbound near Exit 43. Authorities say he failed to properly navigate a curve, lost control of the motorcycle, and crashed. He died at the scene.

Police confirmed that no other individuals or vehicles were involved in the incident. The investigation is ongoing.
