Fatal Merced County DUI crash death of Noah Reyes and Adrian Reyes – Obituary

A devastating crash in Merced County has claimed the lives of 13-year-old Noah Reyes and his father, 40-year-old Adrian Reyes. The collision occurred when 20-year-old Melissa Rosales, suspected of driving under the influence, collided head-on with the Reyes’ vehicle on State Route 165, just south of Turner Avenue. The incident took place on the weekend, and both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.

Family and friends of Adrian remember him as a dedicated father who always went above and beyond for his children, while also being a loving husband. His son, Noah, was known for his kind nature, enjoying activities like playing basketball, spending time at the beach, and listening to music by Tupac Shakur.

This tragic loss marks another senseless DUI-related incident, which Officer Eric Zuniga of the California Highway Patrol expressed frustration over. Rosales, who sustained major injuries, is expected to face felony DUI and vehicular manslaughter charges once she is released from the hospital.
