Fatal Springfield Township motorcycle crash death of Matthew Ertel – Obituary
Matthew Ertel, 38, tragically lost his life in a motorcycle accident on Saturday in Springfield Township. Ertel was traveling north on Daly Road when he lost control of his motorcycle near Meredith Drive.
The motorcycle then skidded along the guardrail and collided with a utility pole, throwing him from the bike. Ertel was rushed to UC Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
The crash report stated that Ertel was not wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
