Fatal Southeast D.C. shooting death of Alex Alexander – Obituary

Authorities in Washington, D.C. are investigating a deadly shooting that occurred early Saturday in the Southeast area. The victim, identified as 31-year-old Alex Alexander of Gaithersburg, Maryland, was found with gunshot wounds on the 500 block of Newcomb Street SE shortly after midnight.

 

Officers from the Metropolitan Police Department arrived on the scene around 12:23 a.m. and discovered Alexander unresponsive and not breathing. Emergency medical personnel from D.C. Fire and EMS confirmed that Alexander had no vital signs and declared him deceased at the scene.
