Fatal Northeast D.C. shooting death of Steven Stewart – Obituary

Steven Stewart, a 61-year-old resident of Washington, D.C., was fatally shot just before 1 p.m. on Friday, May 2nd, in the 600 block of 21st Street Northeast.

 

According to the Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the scene at approximately 12:48 p.m. and discovered Stewart suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Despite efforts by DC Fire and EMS, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Authorities have not yet apprehended a suspect, and the investigation is ongoing. Police are urging the public to come forward with any relevant information. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for details that lead to an arrest and conviction related to the case.
