A deadly shooting in Bokchito, Oklahoma on Saturday morning has left 34-year-old Michael Jay Bragg dead, following a violent encounter with his father.

According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, law enforcement was dispatched to a residence along Highway 70, where they found Bragg with a fatal gunshot wound. Bryan County deputies determined that a physical dispute had taken place between Michael Jay Bragg and his 52-year-old father, Michael David Bragg.

Following the incident, Michael David Bragg was taken into custody and is currently held in the Bryan County Jail, facing a charge of first-degree murder.
