Fatal Orange, Texas motorcycle crash death of Howard Elmore – Obituary
Howard Elmore, a 52-year-old resident of Port Neches, lost his life on Saturday following a three-vehicle collision in Orange, Texas. The accident occurred at approximately 2:15 p.m. on Edgar Brown Drive when a black Kia Carnival van veered into oncoming traffic and struck Elmore’s Honda motorcycle, as well as a white Toyota 4Runner.
Responders from the Orange Police and Fire Departments, along with Acadian EMS, rushed to the scene. Witnesses reported that the motorcycle became trapped beneath the two SUVs, and Elmore appeared to have been thrown from the bike. He was transported in critical condition to St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
The other drivers involved were not hurt. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash with assistance from several local emergency agencies.
