Fatal Peoria car crash death of Armani McDonald – Obituary

Armani McDonald, a 29-year-old woman from Tolleson, lost her life in a devastating accident that occurred late Tuesday night on Loop 101 in Peoria, Arizona. The collision happened shortly after 11 p.m. near milepost 14 by Thunderbird Road.

Authorities say McDonald’s vehicle was traveling at a high speed when it suddenly went out of control, left the roadway, rolled over, and hit a tree before finally landing in a nearby canal. McDonald, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene.

Two children who were also in the vehicle had their seatbelts fastened and sustained only minor injuries. They were transported to a hospital for treatment.

The highway was temporarily closed as crews responded, but it has since been reopened. Investigators are continuing to examine the circumstances that led to the crash.
