Gad Davis was killed on Sunday during a shooting that took place at a family crawfish boil in Baker, Louisiana. Authorities with the East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office confirmed that Davis and another man were shot inside a home located near the intersection of Rolling Acres Drive and Plank Road.
Investigators said that a dispute escalated, leading one of the individuals to retrieve a firearm and shoot Davis, fatally wounding him. The second man involved in the incident was critically injured and is receiving medical treatment.
As of now, no charges have been announced, and the investigation remains ongoing.
