Fatal Glens Falls motorcycle crash death of Suzie J. Etu – Obituary
Suzie J. Etu, 38, of South Glens Falls, passed away following a tragic motorcycle accident that occurred in Glens Falls during the early hours of Saturday morning.
According to New York State Police, troopers attempted to stop a speeding motorcycle on Route 9 near Hidden Farm Road in Queensbury around 12:20 a.m. The driver did not comply, prompting a brief pursuit. For safety reasons, police ended the chase near Route 9 and Lafayette Street.
Despite the discontinued pursuit, the motorcycle continued traveling and ultimately lost control near the intersection of Bacon Street and Glen Street by the Chapman Museum. The vehicle hit a curb and crashed at approximately 12:23 a.m.
Suzie Etu was riding as a passenger on the motorcycle, which was driven by 38-year-old Alex S. Morehouse of Warrensburg. Morehouse died at the scene, while Etu was rushed to Glens Falls Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
Authorities have stated that the investigation is ongoing, and the New York State Attorney General’s Office has been involved in reviewing the circumstances of the crash.
