Seventeen-year-old Haley Davis was among four members of the Davis family who tragically died in a house fire early Wednesday morning in Stilson, a small community in southern Bulloch County. Haley perished alongside her parents, Russell and Wendi Davis, and her older sister, Susannah Davis, 19, when flames engulfed their home on Stilson Road.

The fire was first reported by a volunteer firefighter who noticed the blaze while driving to work, according to Bulloch County Public Safety Director Ted Wynn. Emergency responders, including sheriff’s deputies and fire crews from several volunteer departments, were dispatched to the scene at approximately 4:54 a.m., said Sheriff Lynn Anderson.

Firefighters entered the burning home and found all four family members deceased inside. Haley Davis, remembered as a bright and kind young woman with a promising future, is being mourned deeply by her friends, teachers, and neighbors as the community reels from the heartbreaking loss.
