Kenneth Jackson dies in fatal Allen pedestrian crash

Fatal Allen pedestrian crash death of Kenneth Jackson – Obituary

Kenneth Jackson, a 40-year-old resident of Melissa, Texas, was fatally struck by a vehicle while attempting to cross E. Stacy Road in Allen on the night of May 2.

According to Allen Police, Jackson had exited a nearby business and was walking southbound when he entered the westbound lanes, crossed the center median, and stepped into eastbound traffic.

At that moment, a dark-colored SUV traveling eastbound hit Jackson. The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with the police investigation.

Emergency personnel from the Allen Police Department arrived quickly and started life-saving procedures, which were taken over by the Fairview Fire Department upon their arrival.

Jackson was transported to Medical City McKinney, where he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities have stated that the incident is still under investigation.
