Fatal Harlem stabbing death of Jervey Barfield – Obituary

Jervey Barfield, a 33-year-old man, was fatally stabbed early Saturday morning in Harlem, according to the New York City Police Department.

The incident occurred around 5:27 a.m. in front of 2640 Frederick Douglass Boulevard, near the corner of West 141st Street, following a dispute.

Barfield suffered multiple stab wounds to his back. Emergency responders arrived quickly and transported him to NYC Health and Hospitals/Harlem, where he was later pronounced dead.

Authorities have not yet made any arrests, and the motive behind the confrontation remains unknown. The investigation is ongoing as police continue to seek information about the attack.
