The Bexar County Medical Examiner has concluded that the death of 28-year-old Mariadelis Labrador was a suicide. Her body was discovered in March near Wildhorse HOA Sports Park, two days after she was last seen by her boyfriend.

Labrador was reported missing on March 10, after her boyfriend stated she may have gone to the nearby park. Her body was located on March 12, and by March 14, officials confirmed that the cause of death was a stab wound to the chest.

Following a detailed investigation, including public assistance through statements and surveillance footage, the Bexar County Sheriff’s Office officially ruled her death a suicide. Authorities expressed appreciation for the community’s help and offered condolences to Labrador’s loved ones during this tragic time.
