Bradley May, a 32-year-old man, died after being shot in a double shooting early Sunday morning near the University of Louisville campus, according to local officials.

The incident occurred just after midnight on May 4 in the 400 block of University Boulevard, close to Eastern Parkway. When Louisville Metro Police officers arrived at the scene, they discovered May and a woman suffering from gunshot wounds. Both were taken to the University of Louisville Hospital, where May succumbed to his injuries.

Authorities stated that the woman’s injuries were not life-threatening, although her current condition has not been disclosed.
