Fatal Walker County car crash death of Carlton L. Lawson – Obituary

Carlton L. Lawson, a 57-year-old resident of Nauvoo, lost his life in a single-vehicle accident that occurred overnight in Walker County, Alabama.

The incident took place around midnight on Tuesday along Dogwood Road, close to Walden Road, roughly two miles north of Carbon Hill. According to Senior Trooper Gregory Corble, Lawson was behind the wheel of a Toyota Venza when the vehicle veered off the roadway and struck a tree.

Authorities confirmed that Lawson was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the collision and was pronounced deceased at the scene. The investigation into the crash remains ongoing.
