An 11-year-old child, Marshaun Futrell, Jr., has died following what authorities are calling an accidental shooting in north St. Louis County.

Police responded to reports of a shooting around 8:15 p.m. on Longford Drive, where they found the boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was rushed to a nearby hospital but did not survive his injuries.
