Oscar Henderson dies in fatal Reno shooting

Fatal Reno shooting death of Oscar Henderson – Obituary

Oscar Henderson, 34, from Sparks, was tragically killed in a shooting on May 1 in downtown Reno.

The incident took place near the intersection of 4th Street and Virginia Street, between the Silver Legacy and Circus Circus casinos.

Authorities confirmed that Henderson was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound to the torso, and the cause of death has been ruled a homicide.

A juvenile suspect was apprehended on May 2 near Santa Cruz, California, after being located by law enforcement.

The Santa Cruz Police Department’s SWAT team arrested the suspect without incident, and due to their age, their identity is being kept confidential. The Reno Police Department is leading the investigation into this case.
