Fatal Sylmar motorcycle crash death of Brandon Moore – Obituary
Brandon Moore, a 39-year-old resident of Pasadena, lost his life in a tragic motorcycle accident early Sunday morning on the 210 Freeway in Sylmar, according to Kelly Vail of the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The incident occurred around 12:35 a.m. when the California Highway Patrol’s Newhall Area Office received reports of a collision on the westbound side of the freeway near Yarnell Street. As officers were on their way to the scene, a second crash unfolded involving Moore’s motorcycle, which collided with one of the vehicles from the initial crash, CHP Officer Carlos Burgos-Lopez reported.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department arrived shortly after but pronounced Moore dead at the scene.
CHP Captain Ed Krusey expressed condolences, emphasizing the importance of road safety and urging all motorists to remain alert and follow traffic laws to prevent future tragedies. The crash is still under investigation by the CHP Newhall Area Office.
