Fatal Pawtucket shooting death of Jesse Baptista – Obituary

Jesse Baptista, 19, was identified as the young man who was fatally shot in Pawtucket on April 29. Authorities confirmed that he died after being taken to the hospital for treatment of gunshot injuries.

Police discovered Baptista lying on the ground near the intersection of Bloomingdale and Humboldt avenues, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency responders transported him to a nearby hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

So far, no suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the shooting. Law enforcement officials are continuing their investigation and urging anyone with relevant details to reach out.
