Jaylon Johnson dies in fatal Gardena shooting

Fatal Gardena shooting death of Jaylon Johnson – Obituary

Jaylon Johnson, 24, lost his life after being shot in the Gardena area early Tuesday morning. Authorities confirmed his identity on Friday through the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s office.

Emergency crews transported Johnson to a nearby hospital shortly after the incident around 12:30 a.m. in the 14700 block of Crenshaw Boulevard. Sadly, he was declared dead upon arrival.

Another man who was also wounded in the shooting received treatment at a hospital and was later released.

The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department reported that homicide detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No additional details have been released at this time.
