Fatal Rossville pedestrian accident death of Nicholas I. Claspill – Obituary

Nicholas I. Claspill, 36, of Tecumseh, lost his life early Thursday morning after being struck by a vehicle near Rossville, Kansas. Authorities confirmed his identity following the fatal incident.

According to the Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a report involving a northbound Ford F-150 pickup on NW Carlson Road that struck Claspill, who was on the roadway at the time of the crash.

Claspill was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the truck was wearing a seatbelt and did not suffer any injuries. Officials say the driver is cooperating fully with the ongoing investigation.
