Dr. Kami Hansen, 41, tragically lost her life on April 28 when a man intentionally drove his SUV into her family as they were walking their dog in a horrifying act of revenge.

The crash also killed her family’s pit bull terrier, while her husband, Paul Hansen, and their 13-year-old son were injured.

Her son was hospitalized with a concussion and required surgery, while Paul sustained minor injuries. The suspect, Jeffrey Endres, was reportedly motivated by a “sensitive crime” involving a family member of Dr. Hansen.

He had been charged with first-degree intentional homicide, attempted homicide, and other felonies before being found dead in his jail cell days later. Dr. Hansen was remembered as a dedicated chiropractor and a beloved member of her community.
