Nicholas Littleton dies in fatal Wallace motorcycle crash during police chase

Fatal Wallace motorcycle crash death of Nicholas Littleton – Obituary

Nicholas Edward Littleton, 37, of Worthington, West Virginia, lost his life in a high-speed motorcycle crash on Thursday during a police pursuit just north of Wallace on W.Va. Route 20.

According to Sgt. Roger Glaspell of the West Virginia State Police, Littleton crashed after laying down his motorcycle and colliding with a guardrail. His passenger, 29-year-old Michaela Danielle Collins of Fairmont, was also killed in the accident.

Authorities confirmed that both individuals were wearing helmets at the time. The chase, initiated by Wetzel County deputies, reached speeds over 110 miles per hour before ending in the deadly collision.

State Police reconstruction teams are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash, with Trooper First Class A.N. Alton leading the case.
