Fatal Wallace motorcycle crash death of Michaela Collins – Obituary

Michaela Danielle Collins, a 29-year-old woman from Fairmont, West Virginia, was tragically killed Thursday in a motorcycle crash on W.Va. Route 20 just north of Wallace during a police pursuit.

According to information from West Virginia State Police Sgt. Roger Glaspell, Collins was riding as a passenger on a motorcycle operated by Nicholas Edward Littleton, 37, of Worthington. During the high-speed chase, which reportedly reached speeds exceeding 110 mph, Littleton lost control of the motorcycle, causing it to slide and crash into a guardrail.

Both Collins and Littleton were pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities confirmed that both were wearing helmets at the time of the accident.

The pursuit was initiated by Wetzel County deputies, and the investigation remains ongoing, with Tfc. A.N. Alton handling the case.
