Deanne Marie Hild, 69, lost her life following a car accident in Minneapolis on Thursday evening that may have been triggered by a medical emergency.

According to the Minneapolis Police Department, officers were called to the 4300 block of 46th Avenue South shortly after 7:15 p.m. in response to a reported collision with injuries.

When emergency responders arrived, they found Hild, a woman in her 60s, receiving medical assistance at the scene. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later passed away. The Hennepin County Medical Examiner officially identified her as Deanne Marie Hild.

Preliminary investigations suggest that Hild was driving southbound when her vehicle sideswiped another car and then crashed into a parked vehicle. Authorities noted that a medical issue may have played a role in the incident.

No one else was injured in the crash, police confirmed.
