Sara Sargent, an 89-year-old woman, lost her life following a two-vehicle collision that occurred Wednesday evening in Mobile, Alabama.
The crash was reported around 6:21 p.m. on Schillinger Road near the Creekwood Church of Christ. Sargent was riding as a passenger in one of the cars involved. After being transported to a nearby hospital with injuries, she was later pronounced dead.
Three additional individuals were also taken to the hospital, though their injuries were reported to be minor.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
