Fatal A75 crash death of Mary Reeves – Obituary
A tragic crash on the A75 in Dumfries and Galloway claimed the life of a 67-year-old woman, Mary Reeves, from Kirkcudbright. The collision, which occurred last Saturday between Castle Douglas and Bridge of Dee, also left two teenagers with serious injuries.
Ms. Reeves was behind the wheel of a Ford Ka when the crash took place. She was transported to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary but unfortunately passed away from her injuries. The 19-year-old man driving a Seat Ibiza, along with his 16-year-old female passenger, sustained serious injuries and were treated in hospital.
Police Scotland has confirmed that an investigation is underway and is asking anyone who may have witnessed the incident or has relevant information to come forward.
