Fatal American Fork motorcycle crash death of Noah Scribner – Obituary

Seventeen-year-old Noah Scribner, a student at Timpanogos High School, died on Monday, May 12, following a motorcycle accident in American Fork Canyon. The crash occurred on SR-92 when Noah lost control of his Honda motorcycle while navigating a turn. According to the Utah Highway Patrol, the motorcycle’s front wheel detached during the incident, and despite immediate efforts to save him, he was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

Principal Theron Murphy expressed heartfelt condolences to the school community, acknowledging the loss and offering support to Noah’s family and friends.

 

Noah had been preparing for graduation and was planning to begin a service mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, according to a family-run GoFundMe set up to assist with funeral costs.

 

Alpine School District has deployed counselors at Timpanogos High to help students cope with the tragedy. Director of Communications Rich Stowell emphasized that providing emotional support during difficult times is a top priority for the district.

 

Investigations into the accident are ongoing.
