Marvin Taylor III dies in fatal Austin car crash – Sunday, May 11, 2025

Fatal Austin car crash death of Marvin Taylor III – Obituary

Killeen Fire Captain Marvin Taylor III lost his life in a deadly car crash early Sunday morning in Austin. Authorities say the collision occurred around 1 a.m. on the 600 block of East Koenig Lane.

According to police reports, Taylor was driving a van when an SUV, driven by Rodney Bremby, struck the back of his vehicle. Emergency personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced Taylor dead.

Rodney Bremby was taken into custody and has been formally charged with intoxication manslaughter in connection to the fatal crash.
