Fatal East Palatka house fire death of Fernando Hernandez Mendez – Obituary

Fernando Hernandez Mendez, 31, was one of the three people who lost their lives in a tragic fire in East Palatka, Florida, on May 12, 2025. The devastating blaze broke out at the family home located at 215 North Maryland Avenue, about 60 miles south of Jacksonville. Fernando, along with his brother Enrique Hernandez Mendez, 33, and 4-year-old Angel Enrique Diaz Perez, perished in the flames.
