Fatal North Haven car crash death of Andrea Baquero – Obituary

Andrea Baquero, a 37-year-old woman from East Haven, tragically died following a car crash on Interstate 91 in North Haven on the morning of May 12, 2025.

According to Connecticut State Police, the incident occurred around 8:30 a.m. when Baquero was driving a Honda CR-V LX northbound on I-91, near Exit 10. For reasons yet to be determined, she veered across all three lanes and exited the roadway. The vehicle then collided with a tree off the side of the highway.

Baquero was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital, where she was pronounced dead from her injuries. Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash and have asked any witnesses to contact Trooper Patrick Miko at Troop I.
