Fatal Lincoln crash death of Thomas Heath – Obituary

Thomas Heath, a 61-year-old man from Lincoln, lost his life following a vehicle collision that occurred east of the city on Monday afternoon, the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.

Authorities say the crash took place around 12:30 p.m. near the intersection of O Street and 162nd Street. Heath was driving a Ford Focus eastbound when, for reasons still under investigation, he veered into the opposite lane and collided head-on with an SUV traveling west.

Heath was transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries. The SUV driver, a 32-year-old Lincoln resident, sustained only minor injuries and received treatment at the scene.

The incident remains under investigation by law enforcement officials.
