Thomas Kenny, known to family and friends as Tim Kenny, died while scuba diving near the Burbo Wind Farm off the coast of New Brighton on May 7, 2025.

Emergency services were alerted around 6:40 p.m. when HM Coastguard contacted Merseyside Police regarding the incident. The 65-year-old, who was from Netherton, was pronounced dead at the scene.
