Fatal Laredo car crash death of Gerardo Mendoza – Obituary

Gerardo Mendoza, 34, has been identified as the victim in a deadly single-vehicle accident that took place near downtown Laredo late on the night of May 11, 2025.

The crash occurred around 11:40 p.m. near the intersection of San Bernardo Avenue and Washington Street. Mendoza, who was driving the vehicle, was transported to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead in the early morning hours of May 12.

Laredo police have confirmed his identity and stated that their crash investigation team is still looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
