Fatal Sacramento shooting death of Darell Curry – Obituary

Authorities have confirmed the identity of the victim in last week’s deadly shooting in Sacramento as 21-year-old Darell Curry, a resident of the city.

The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office ruled Curry’s death a homicide. Police were called to the Upper Land Park neighborhood on Seavey Circle at approximately 8:30 p.m. on Wednesday after receiving reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived at the scene, they found Curry suffering from at least one gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead shortly after. The investigation remains active as law enforcement continues to gather details surrounding the fatal incident.
