Authorities have confirmed that 40-year-old John Martin of Clarksville was the victim of a deadly shooting that occurred in the Summit Heights neighborhood on May 14. Police responded to reports of gunfire shortly before 11 p.m. and discovered Martin with a gunshot wound. He later succumbed to his injuries.
