Fatal Adams County forklift accident death of Daniel G. Dunlevy – Obituary
Daniel G. Dunlevy, 65, of Mount Holly Springs, Pennsylvania, was tragically killed Monday morning after being run over by a forklift at Beckley’s RVs in Mount Pleasant Township, according to the Adams County Coroner.
Emergency responders were dispatched to the dealership on York Road at 9:11 a.m. Dunlevy had been operating a forklift to transport boats and campers when he fell from the machine for reasons that remain unclear.
Coroner Francis Dutrow reported that after Dunlevy fell, the forkliftâ€â€which was still engagedâ€â€rolled over him. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The exact cause and manner of death are still pending further investigation.
The Pennsylvania State Police have launched an investigation into the incident. No further information has been provided at this time.
Dan was my brother-in-law; I will miss him greatly; me and my son use to go up to his house every fall and cut wood with him. We always had a good time. Every Wednesday we met for diner with Dan ,and my son, father-in-law. Till we meet again.
