Fatal Halethorpe shooting death of Tyler Tunstalle – Obituary
Baltimore County Police are investigating the fatal shooting of 20-year-old Tyler Tunstalle, who was gunned down in Halethorpe on the evening of May 14.
The incident happened around 6:55 p.m. near the intersection of Hollins Ferry Road and Lansdowne Road. Responding officers discovered Tunstalle with gunshot wounds at the scene.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment but ultimately passed away from his injuries on May 19.
The Baltimore County Police Homicide Unit has taken over the investigation and is appealing to the public for assistance. Individuals with any information are encouraged to contact police at 410-887-4636.
A reward of up to $2,000 is available for tips that lead to an arrest or charges. Anonymous submissions can be made through Metro Crime Stoppers at 1-866-7LOCKUP (1-866-756-2587) or through the department’s iWATCH program.
At this time, no suspects have been named, and investigators have not determined a motive.
