Fatal Brockton shooting death of Tymari Alberton and Cevannah Alvarez – Obituary

Two teenagers, Tymari Alberton, 15, and Cevannah Alvarez, 18, lost their lives in a double shooting that occurred near the Westgate Mall in Brockton on March 22. Authorities responded to reports of gunfire outside a Chipotle restaurant on Westgate Drive and found both victims suffering from gunshot wounds. Sadly, both were later pronounced dead.

Davinci Leonard, 22, has been named as the primary suspect in the shootings and remains at large. Officials say he fled the scene following the incident.

In connection with the case, 32-year-old David Mosley-Lott of Quincy was arraigned in Brockton District Court on May 20. He faces charges of being an accessory after the fact and witness intimidation. Mosley-Lott pleaded not guilty and is being held without bail until a dangerousness hearing scheduled for May 29.

According to investigators, Mosley-Lott admitted to picking up Leonard in Boston three days after the shooting and allowing him to stay at his home in Quincy. Authorities also allege that he told a woman who was with Leonard to destroy her phone after police tried to reach her, prompting the witness intimidation charge.

Davinci Leonard is wanted on two counts of murder, as well as charges for possessing and carrying a loaded firearm without a license. Police urge anyone with information about Leonard’s whereabouts to call the Massachusetts State Police at 508-894-2584.
