Fatal Baldwinsville, NY pedestrian crash death of Deborah Irwin – Obituary

Deborah L. Irwin, 84, of Baldwinsville, New York, died after being struck by a vehicle on May 19, 2025. The tragic accident occurred near the Dunkin’ parking lot on Lock Street around 5:30 p.m.

 

According to New York State Police, the driver, a 63-year-old man, was making a left turn out of the parking lot onto Lock Street when he failed to yield to Irwin, who was crossing. Irwin was hit and rushed to Upstate University Hospital, where she later passed away.

 

Authorities say the driver is cooperating with the ongoing investigation, which remains open as police gather more details. Witnesses to the crash are encouraged to contact State Police.
