collision occurred around 5 p.m. near the intersection of Glendale Avenue and Dysart Road, close to Luke Air Force Base.

According to Glendale Police, Mr. Palmer was riding his motorcycle southbound on Dysart Road when a Toyota Camry traveling northbound attempted to make a left turn onto Glendale Avenue. The Camry failed to yield to oncoming traffic, resulting in a collision with Mr. Palmer’s motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene .

This incident highlights a concerning trend in Arizona, where nearly 40% of motorcycle fatalities occur at intersections, often involving left-turning vehicles that fail to yield to motorcyclists .

The Glendale Police Department is continuing to investigate the crash. No further details have been released at this time.
