Fatal Kissimmee shooting death of Wesley Robertson – Obituary
Wesley Robertson was fatally shot on Wednesday night after an argument over a food order turned deadly at a Checkers restaurant in Kissimmee, Florida. The incident occurred at approximately 10:01 p.m. at the location on West Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway.
According to the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office, a dispute arose between Robertson, a customer, and 23-year-old employee Elijah Travis Mackey. The confrontation intensified, and Mackey allegedly pulled a firearm and shot Robertson during the altercation.
Robertson was taken to Osceola Regional Medical Center but was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
Authorities arrested Mackey shortly after the incident. He is facing a charge of first-degree premeditated murder and is currently being held in the Osceola County Jail.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
