Tumontay Parks, 23, died following a shooting that occurred Saturday night during a gathering in Fort Smith, Arkansas. Authorities confirmed his death on Sunday after he succumbed to his injuries at a local hospital where he had been transported with critical gunshot wounds.

The Fort Smith Police Department reported that the incident took place in the 1400 block of Belle Avenue. Officers believe the shots were fired from a dark-colored truck, and the suspects fled the scene immediately afterward.
