Nita Silverstein dies in fatal Cobb County car crash

Fatal Cobb County car crash death of Nita Silverstein – Obituary

Nita Silverstein, a 76-year-old woman from Atlanta, lost her life in a single-vehicle accident on Tuesday evening in Cobb County.

Authorities report that the incident occurred just before 5:30 p.m. as Silverstein was driving westbound near 4571 Columns Drive. For reasons still under investigation, her vehicle veered off the road and onto the raised median, where it struck a tree. The impact forced the car back onto Columns Drive.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Silverstein dead. Her family has been informed of her passing.
